Dr. Lynn Blair is the Chief Clinical Officer at Plaza Healthcare. She is responsible for: Nursing Team Members, Clinical Quality Assurance, Wound Services, Dialysis, Infection Control, Laboratory Services, Staff Development, Clinical Staffing, Restorative Nursing, and Respiratory Therapy. She is also involved in a variety of facility quality improvement efforts, committees, works closely with the facility Executive Director and Medical Staff regarding facility operations, and collaborates with facility Department Managers and Supervisors striving for positive resident clinical outcomes and enhanced care and service delivery. Along with many certificates, Dr. Blair has a Doctorate in Business Administration graduating Magna Cum Laude with a specialization in health services management, a Masters in Nursing graduating with highest honors, is a Licensed Skilled Nursing Administrator, and a Certified Nurse Educator. Because of her interest in patient advocacy, Lynn also graduated with highest honors from the University of Toledo's Patient Advocacy Program. In 1982 Lynn started her career in healthcare. She has had the privilege of holding a variety of positions, including functioning as a Chief Operations Officer responsible for all aspects of operations for eight facilities representing approximately 775 nursing home, long term care, short term rehab, and long-term acute care patient beds, as well as giving direction to corporate team members and a company staff of 880 employees. From 1994 to 2018 Lynn was the President of a consulting firm specializing in education and state, federal and regulatory compliance in a variety of health care continuums in the United States including traveling to China, India, and Africa to share her knowledge. Dr. Blair received an Alumnus of the Year Award, Star Award, and an Outstanding Academic Program Award from the college she received her nursing degree from. The hospital she was employed as a registered nurse awarded her with their prestigious Healing With Care Award. Lynn donates her time to the local police department where she lives, to various women's clubs, and to the Scottsdale arts community. When Dr. Blair is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, baking, cooking, hiking, traveling, and spending time doing a variety of different arts and crafts projects.
