PLAZA RAISES $11,250 FOR THE ARIZONA SPECIAL OLYMPICS

For the second consecutive year, Plaza Healthcare has participated in the Arizona Special Olympics’ Over the Edge event. On December 12, 2015, eleven Plaza Employees rappelled down City Scape, a twenty-seven story glass building in downtown Phoenix.
The facility set a goal in April of 2015 to raise $11,000 and through the help of our community, staff, friends, and family, Plaza was able to raise $11,250. According to the Special Olympic Committee, Plaza finished 4th in the state of Arizona for monies donated. Overall, the Over the Edge event raised more than $210,000 ensuring that over 400 athletes would receive a full year sponsorship.

Plaza Healthcare Receives Second Round of COVID-19 Vaccines.
Plaza Healthcare received its second round of COVID-19 vaccines on February 4th, 2021. CVS Pharmacy coordinated the vaccines.
